Ordering, Processing and Return & Exchanges FAQ

At SCNT, we take pride in crafting each perfume oil with care and attention to detail. As our products are hand-poured, we prioritise maintaining the highest hygiene standards. Due to the nature of our products and for the safety and well-being of all our customers, we have a list of our policies outlined below:

Returns

If for any reason you are unsatisfied with the product you may contact us within 14 days of receiving the order. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in its original packaging, just as you received it. 

Kindly provide a receipt or proof of purchase to complete the return process. and we will process a refund for the purchase amount. Please note that we are unable to refund the original shipping charges, and return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds:

Upon receiving and inspecting your returned item, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received it. Subsequently, we will inform you about the approval or rejection of your refund request. Please note this will be minus the shipping cost

If your refund is approved, it will be processed, and the credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a specific period.

Exchanges (if applicable):

We ensure that all our products are thoroughly inspected and meet strict quality standards before being shipped. In the rare event that you receive a damaged or defective item, please send us an email hello@scn-t.com within 14 days of receiving the order. We will be happy to provide a replacement for the damaged item.

My package was delivered to the wrong address, what can I do?

If your package was delivered to the wrong address without any error on our part, we cannot take responsibility or offer a refund. However, if the package is returned to us, we can resend it to the correct address upon receiving the accurate information and a $5 reshipment fee from you. Alternatively, if you choose not to have the package reshipped, we will not be able to issue a refund

What actions can I take if my package is delayed?

We share the same tracking information as you. Each shipment has a tracking number for you to monitor. We won't contact CHitChats for you unless the package is damaged. If there are delays, contact ChitChats at with your tracking number and address.

 If your tracking hasn't updated or the shipment isn't delivered after 7 business days (domestic) or 15 business days (international), consider it lost. Contact us within 30 days from the dispatch date for a refund or replacement.

My package is stolen/missing, what can I do now?

Our responsibility for packages ends once they are marked as delivered. If your package goes missing after the delivery status is updated, please get in touch with the courier and initiate a claim using your tracking number. For added security, we provide expedited shipping with signature service and standard signature confirmation options, both incurring an extra fee.

Additionally, package insurance is available at an additional cost. If you choose not to opt for these services, you assume full responsibility for your package after it is marked as delivered. We strongly advise purchasing signature confirmation and/or shipping insurance, especially if you reside in an area with a high incidence of stolen packages.

If I made an error in my order, is it possible to make edits? Can I also request a cancellation for my order? 

Changes to orders can be made within 12 hours of placing the order, but we cannot guarantee edits after dispatch due to our swift shipping process. Requests for order cancellation are accepted within 24 hours of order placement, but unfortunately, we are unable to cancel orders beyond this timeframe.

The processing period has elapsed and I haven't received any shipping confirmation, where's my order? 

If the processing period has concluded, and you haven't received any shipping confirmation, kindly reach out to our customer service team at hello@scn-t.com providing your name and order number. Rest assured, we will promptly respond with updates on your order status within 48 hours.

Gifts:

If the item was marked as a gift during purchase and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. After receiving the returned item, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item was not marked as a gift during purchase, or if the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to present to you later, we will issue a refund to the gift giver, and they will be informed of your return.

Satisfaction Guarantee:

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase thats why we ensure every order comes with a sample of any scents purchased which allows you to try it first before committing to the perfume oil.  If you are unhappy with your perfume oil for any reason, please contact us within 14 days of receiving the order. We will offer you refund.
